You Make Me Feel Suspicious

This song is dedicated to my beloved mother Molly, who I lost in 1992.
Our parting was too soon and I think of her often.
This brave young woman who left England for Canada in 1950, shortly after the end of World War I.
Once Molly arrived in Canada, she had plans to leave Edmonton, bound for Vancouver, but those plans quickly changed when on an evening outing at the Rainbow Ballroom dance hall, her eyes met those of a tall, handsome Dutchman, and they were married six months later.
This song is for you Molly, always the life of the party.

I miss you always.

Take Me Back

This song is based on a memory I had as a child in northern Alberta, running with boundless energy in open fields under those endless blue skies and the long sunny days that ran into night, as a billion twinkling stars slowly appeared. This is where time and worry didn’t exist and life was most precious.

These lyrics and music tell that feeling. I hope you feel it too!
